Dutch Waffle Company Stroopwafel
Crispy waffles. Gooey caramel. A little Dutch tradition baked right here in the Midwest.
Made from an authentic Dutch recipe with roots stretching back more than 200 years, these classic stroopwafels feature two thin, crisp waffle cookies with a rich, gooey caramel filling tucked between them.
And these haven't spent months traveling across the ocean to get here. Dutch Waffle Company bakes their stroopwafels in Plymouth, Indiana, bringing a beloved Dutch tradition a little closer to home—and a whole lot fresher.
A Dutch Tradition, Baked in Indiana
Dutch Waffle Company began when founder Bianca introduced stroopwafels to her American host family during an exchange year. One bite of the crisp waffle cookies and warm caramel sparked a love for the Dutch specialty that would eventually become Dutch Waffle Company.
Today, their stroopwafels are freshly baked in Plymouth, Indiana, using a traditional recipe with roots stretching back more than two centuries.
How to Enjoy a Stroopwafel
You can absolutely eat it straight from the package. We won't judge.
But for the traditional experience, place your stroopwafel on top of a hot cup of coffee or tea for a few minutes. The warmth from your drink gently softens the caramel inside and warms the waffle.
Then eat it with your drink and wonder why we don't put more cookies on top of beverages.
